Toowoon Bay

Landscaping Project

2022 - Ongoing

The large-scale beachside landscaping project spans several years and has been meticulously developed using predominantly native and endemic plant species. This deliberate choice supports the local ecosystem while creating an impressive garden that functions as both a recreational area and a sanctuary for the region’s biodiversity.

The design incorporates gravel paths that wind naturally through the space, framed by timber sleepers and sandstone walls which complement the coastal environment. These durable elements provide structure and flow while preserving the site's natural aesthetic. A key feature of the project has been the careful craning and placement of many established palms, strategically positioned to enhance shade, visual appeal, and habitat value throughout the site.

As the build nears completion, the garden already benefits from mature, well-established plantings that attract native birds, insects, lizrand other wildlife. This thriving habitat reflects the successful integration of landscaping and conservation principles, ensuring the continued health and vibrancy of the local biodiversity while offering visitors a serene and inspiring outdoor environment.
