Surry Hills Residence

A 171 m² residence recently purchased in Surry Hills underwent a significant transformation to revitalise its worn and dated interiors. Previously part of a deceased estate, the home was shabby and neglected, particularly evident in the courtyard, which was overrun with bamboo.

The refurbishment introduced a new kitchen and bathroom, providing modern functionality while enhancing the overall aesthetic. Blackbutt timber flooring was installed throughout the home, contributing warmth and a natural texture to the interior spaces. These improvements have completely changed the atmosphere, creating an inviting entertainer’s haven just off the dynamic Crown Street.

Attention was also given to the outdoor area. The courtyard was redesigned with crushed granite, establishing a low-maintenance yet stylish space ideal for outdoor living. This new courtyard environment accommodates the household’s three dachshund residents, offering them a safe and pleasant area to enjoy.
